Magic Item: Plate Mail of Alacrity

Image
Forged by master smiths who blended arcane finesse with unmatched craftsmanship, the Plate Armour of Alacrity is a suit of full plate that defies the laws of weight and restriction. Made of an unearthly lightweight metal, this armour gleams with a faint, quicksilver sheen; its surface always seems cool when touched. The segmented plates shift fluidly, perfectly synchronising with the wearer’s body as if responding to their intent rather than brute force. Despite offering the complete protection of full plate armour, the wearer feels no burden or resistance, as though clad in nothing more than simple leather. This enchantment allows them to move with complete freedom, unhindered agility, and unnaturally silent footfalls.   If you'd prefer a PDF, a download link is here .

Ring of the Corrupted Heart (Magic Item)

Image
Item Type: Ring, legendary (requires attunement) The Ring of the Corrupted Heart stands as a poignant testament to the resilience and ingenuity of the Rilmani known as Voridium, who, in the face of the destruction of his own people and the encroachment of an all-consuming corruption he could not defeat or evade, chose to fight back in a uniquely personal way. As he found himself at the brink of both spiritual and physical collapse in an act of desperation and brilliance, he sought to preserve the last vestige of his untainted essence by externalising it into a physical object - a ring. To use the ring, the owner must be attuned to it. Once attuned, the ring grants immunity to poison and disease, and it absorbs the first 10 points of necrotic damage from any source. In addition, once per long rest, the ring can unleash a wave of purifying energy. This will deal 4d10 radiant damage to any undead or corrupted creatures within a 30-foot radius (no saving throw).

World History - 12 Years since the fall of Sigmar and the death of Itaxis

My role-playing is largely done in a parallel "Warhammer Fantasy" world.  The divergences were quite small, almost non-existent, until the God Sigmar was killed during a battle to slay the returned God Itaxis. The Dwarf Absolon was directly responsible  for his death - channeling his God's energy into battle with Itaxis allowed Itaxis to draw out the energy and destroy Sigmar on the battlefield. Anyway, here's the 12-year history since that historic battle from the perspective of Absolon. Fundamentally at this stage the only bit of Warhammer Fantasy that remains is the map ... ! -- It has been a long twelve years. Following the defeat of Itaxis and the death of Sigma, the Empire has changed beyond all measure. At first, with the help of Absolon, the young Emperor was able to hold the Empire together, but soon the rebellions started. First was the Western province around the city of Marienburg. The ruler of that city proclaimed himself King Alfred of Sto, a reference t...
